Boxing changed my life. Before boxing, I would start projects, only to quit them half-way into the process. Boxing taught me discipline and focus and the importance of perseverance. Starting boxing at such a late age and going on to win two back-to-back Golden Gloves championships, gave me the confidence to go after my wildest dreams, knowing that I would be able to achieve them, as long as I focused and worked hard.

Boxing makes people feel strong. It teaches both adults and kids discipline, builds self-esteem and is a positive means of releasing aggression. Boxing changes posture and empowers people to feel that they are capable of achieving anything. Learning how to make a fist makes people feel powerful and offers a belief in the fact that they can protect themselves. It is a healthy outlet for people to get rid of unhealthy feelings.
